Product Designer

Company Description

We are looking for a Product Designer who can translate complex thermal and mechanical constraints into elegant, aesthetic manufacturable physical products. This role owns the form, usability, and integration of our products within real commercial buildings.

You will work hands-on with engineers, fabricators, and installers to design products that perform, install fast, and age well in buildings. You will design for the world with no compromise on quality ,safety and durability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design physical product systems for cooling panels/fitouts, auxiliary components, including form, geometry, and modularity.

2. Translate thermal, mechanical, and installation constraints into robust product designs.

3. Develop CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing-ready drawings.

4. Drive CMF (color, material, and finish) decisions aligned with architectural contexts.

5. Collaborate closely with thermal and mechanical engineers to iterate and optimize designs.

6. Support rapid prototyping, testing, and design validation processes.

7. Engage with contractors, architects, consultants, and facility managers to refine usability and system integration.

8. Contribute to product standardization and variant development.

Skills

• Real world experience designing manufactured physical products
• Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and real-world constraints
• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar)
• Solid understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and DFM principles
• Ability to balance aesthetics, performance, and cost
• Comfort working in early-stage startup environment
• Familiarity with sustainable design principles is a plus
