Role Overview:

Purpleplum is looking for an exceptional Product Designer to join our Digital Banking Services team. Youll play a critical role in designing intuitive, elegant web and mobile experiences that power modern financial products.

Were building a team of experienced designers who deeply care about craft, clarity, and impact. In this role, your work will directly influence how millions of users experience banking across the globe.

What Youll Do:

• Work as part of a cross-functional squad, partnering closely with Product and Engineering from discovery to launch and beyond
• Lead end-to-end design across web and mobile platforms, from research and ideation to execution
• Translate early concepts into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Conduct usability testing, synthesise insights, and iterate based on user feedback
• Build and evolve design systems and reusable UI components
• Ensure consistency in UX, branding, and interaction patterns across products
• Clearly communicate design rationale and decisions to internal stakeholders

What Were Looking For:

• 46 years of experience designing digital products for web and mobile
• A strong portfolio or case studies showcasing product thinking, UX depth, visual craft, and measurable impact
• Experience designing complex products and collaborating effectively with Product Managers and Engineers
• Strong storytelling skillsable to articulate the why behind design decisions
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end design process, from ideation to launch
• Ability to collaborate with engineers to ensure designs meet performance, quality, and technical constraints
• Proficiency in Adobe XD
• Solid understanding of design systems and accessibility, ensuring scalable and inclusive experiences

Good to Have:

• Experience in fintech, banking, SaaS, or enterprise products
• Knowledge of accessibility and usability best practices
• Exposure to developer handoff and implementation workflows
