About The Role:

Were looking for a Product Designer to own the experience of our AI products. Youll work alongside the product manager and engineering team to take features from rough ideas to polished, shipped interfaces. Design at Genuin is a craft we take seriously youll have real influence on what gets built and how it feels to use.

The PM on this team works by building concept documents and rapid prototypes to align the org before scoping begins. Youll be a close partner in that process sharpening how those concepts look and feel, and making sure the experience stays coherent all the way through to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own design end-to-end for our AI products: user research, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and shipped product.
• Collaborate closely with the product manager during the concept phase bringing ideas to life visually so the team can react to something real, not just a written description.
• Define user flows, information architecture, and interaction patterns for AI-powered features, making complex behaviours feel simple and intuitive.
• Run usability sessions and synthesise findings into clear design decisions.
• Maintain and extend Genuins design system for consistency across our product surfaces.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure design intent is preserved through implementation; own design QA before launch.
• Contribute to the visual and interaction language for AI experiences confidence states, loading, errors, and explainability.

Required Qualifications:

• 35 years of product design experience at a consumer app, SaaS product, or digital-first company.
• A strong portfolio that shows your process, not just final screens we want to understand how you think.
• Deep proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, prototyping, variables).
• Solid grasp of mobile-first design; experience shipping on iOS and/or Android.
• Ability to hold the line on quality while still moving at pace in a startup environment.
• A collaborative, low-ego working style you take feedback well and give it clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing AI-powered features chatbots, generative interfaces, recommendation UIs, or anything where the system behaviour needs to be communicated clearly to the user.
• Exposure to video, social, or creator-economy products.
• Motion design or micro-interaction skills (Rive, Principle, After Effects).
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design.
• Startup experience youre used to ambiguity and move fast without losing craft.

• Speed and clarity of design-to-engineering handoffs.
• Contribution to and maintenance of the Genuin design system.
