Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Consultant with 12 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS Cloud and a strong understanding of Retail Banking. This hybrid role requires a deep technical skill set and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. The position is a day shift with no travel required.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of AWS Cloud solutions to meet business requirements.

Oversee the development and deployment of cloud-based applications and services.

Provide technical guidance and support to development teams working on AWS Cloud projects.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Ensure the security and compliance of AWS Cloud environments.

Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud-based applications and services.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS Cloud infrastructure.

Develop and maintain documentation for cloud-based solutions and processes.

Conduct regular reviews and assessments of cloud infrastructure to ensure best practices are followed.

Stay updated with the latest AWS Cloud technologies and industry trends.

Provide training and support to team members on AWS Cloud best practices.

Work closely with the Retail Banking domain to ensure solutions meet industry standards and regulations.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud-based solutions and processes.

Qualifications

Must have extensive experience with AWS Cloud technologies.

Should have a strong understanding of cloud security and compliance.

Must possess excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Should have experience in developing and deploying cloud-based applications.

Must be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Should have a good understanding of Retail Banking domain.

Must have strong communication and documentation skills.

Should be able to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Must be able to provide technical guidance and support to team members.

Should have experience in monitoring and optimizing cloud-based applications.

Must be able to ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments.

Should have experience in conducting regular reviews and assessments of cloud infrastructure.

Must be able to contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud-based solutions.

Good working knowledge and experience of key AWS services including but not limited to EKS ECS RDS Fargate S3 etc.

Hands on experience in at least one of the Infrastructure as code software tools such as Terraform Ansible AWS Rapid Azure ARM Bicep etc.

Knowledge of AWS SDK and AWS CLI

Good experience in developing AWS Lambda functions

Knowledge of Serverless

Knowledge of Docker

Good understanding of building and running services on Kubernetes

Good knowledge of RDS for PostgreSQL

Basic understanding of other database service offerings in AWS

AWS Developer Associate and or AWS DevOps Engineer Professional certifications are desirable

Strong knowledge of CI CD tools and how they integrate within AWS environments

Good knowledge shell command line utilities and Unix Linux commands

Creating maintaining and debugging bash scripts

Knowledge of AWS Authorization Authentication services secrets management

Knowledge of IaaS tools incl CloudFormation Terraform etc.

Good Knowledge of distributed systems

Good working knowledge of microservices

Good knowledge of RESTful web services and CRUD operations

Experience and good knowledge of cloud & cloud-native architectures

Experience in DevSecOps CI CD

Knowledge of different types of Testing in the testing pyramid

Experience in logging & debugging

Experience in TDD would be an advantage

Working knowledge of refactoring

Strong experience and knowledge of Data Structures

Deep Understanding of Error Exception handling

Basic knowledge of SQL and UNIX shell

Strong knowledge of Unix Linux commands and shell

Experience in popular Design Patterns

Good understanding of how HTTP works and experience in building RESTful interactions

Proficient in using at least one of the source code versioning tools such as Git GitLab Bitbucket etc.

Proficient in using at least one of the DevOps CI/CD tools such as GitLab TeamCity Jenkins etc.

Familiar with at least one of the collaboration tools such as JIRA Confluence etc.

Good working knowledge of databases ideally both SQL and NoSQL

Soft skills critical thinking problem solving collaboration & teamwork

Must be a good team player proactive and eager to support your colleagues when needed

Prepared to take on responsibility for tasks and work independently

Familiarity of working as part of an agile squad

Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives

Cloud certifications and/or specific language-based certifications would be a bonus
