About the Role

At More Retail, we're seeking a Product Analyst who will empower our business and operations teams while driving data-informed product decisions. You'll enable internal stakeholders to leverage our products effectively and use analytics to continuously improve both product capabilities and operational efficiency.

This is a unique opportunity to deeply understand how our teams use our products, identify workflow optimization opportunities, and translate insights into actionable product improvements and business outcomes.

By collaborating directly with business teams, operations teams, and other internal stakeholders, you'll understand real-world product usage patterns and uncover insights that transform operational challenges into strategic product improvements.

Your Key Responsibilities

Internal Enablement & Product Optimization:

  • Collaborate with business teams and operations teams to optimize their product usage
  • Conduct training sessions and create enablement materials for new features and workflows
  • Troubleshoot product issues, answer questions about functionality, and unblock internal users
  • Document workflows, create internal SOPs, and maintain a product knowledge base
  • Gather feature requests and pain points from internal stakeholders
  • Work with engineering to reproduce and prioritize bugs and issues
  • Configure and customize product features to meet specific business team needs
  • Monitor adoption of new features across internal teams and drive increased utilization
  • Act as the product expert for internal teams, helping them understand capabilities and best practices
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend product-based solutions

Analytics & Insights:

  • Analyze internal product usage patterns to identify adoption gaps, underutilized features, and workflow inefficiencies
  • Build dashboards and reports tracking business metrics, operational KPIs, and product performance
  • Conduct analysis to understand how product features impact business outcomes (revenue, efficiency, cost reduction)
  • Design and analyze experiments to optimize internal workflows and processes
  • Track feature adoption across different internal teams and identify success patterns
  • Perform cohort analysis, funnel analysis, and usage pattern analysis
  • Translate data findings into actionable recommendations for both product improvements and process changes
  • Create regular reports on product health, business metrics, and operational efficiency
  • Use SQL to extract, transform, and analyze data across multiple systems
  • Identify data quality issues and work with engineering to improve data instrumentation
  • Build self-service analytics capabilities for internal stakeholders

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Synthesize internal feedback and data insights into product requirement documents
  • Collaborate with product managers to prioritize features based on business impact and internal user needs
  • Work closely with business operations to understand their goals, challenges, and metrics
  • Partner with engineering to understand system capabilities and technical constraints
  • Present insights, recommendations, and business cases to leadership and stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across technical and business teams


What We're Looking For :

We are seeking early-career smart professionals with 13 years of relevant experience.

Required Skills:

  • SQL Proficiency: Strong ability to write complex queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
  • Python Proficiency: Experience using Python for data analysis, automation, and scripting (pandas, numpy, matplotlib/seaborn)
  • Data Analysis: Experience analyzing business metrics, operational data, and product usage patterns
  • Spreadsheets: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling)
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of how products drive business outcomes and operational efficiency
  • Communication: Excellent ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Problem-Solving: Systematic approach to diagnosing issues and designing solutions
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to work with diverse internal teams and manage competing priorities


Technical Knowledge:

  • Understanding of business and product metrics (conversion rates, productivity metrics, operational efficiency, ROI, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of web technologies, APIs, databases, and software architecture
  • Experience with product analytics, event tracking, and implementation
  • Knowledge of internal tools and systems (CRM, ERP, workflow management tools)
  • Bonus: Basic understanding of AWS, databases, and backend systems
  • Bonus: Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools
