The Procurement specialist is responsible for end-to-end procurement and management of IT assets, connectivity, telecom services, and related vendor engagements across the NBFCs branch, zonal, and head office locations. The role ensures cost-effective procurement, uninterrupted connectivity, compliance with internal policies, and efficient vendor and contract management in line with regulatory and business requirements of an NBFC.


Key Responsibilities / Main Tasks


  • Manage procurement of IT assets including hardware, peripherals, and related infrastructure for Head Office, Zonal Offices, and Branches.
  • Execute and manage Rate Contracts (RCs) for IT and telecom-related goods and services.
  • Oversee AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) management, including renewals, SLA adherence, and vendor performance monitoring.
  • Manage leased lines and connectivity services, including ILL, MPLS, broadband, and branch connectivity solutions.
  • Handle procurement and lifecycle management of data cards, SIMs, and telecom services across the organization.
  • Liaise with telecom service providers to ensure uninterrupted services, issue resolution, and cost optimization.
  • Support and manage MSME-related procurement activities, ensuring compliance with applicable government and regulatory norms.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for demand planning, budgeting, and timely delivery of procurement requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with NBFC policies, audit requirements, and vendor due diligence norms.
  • Maintain procurement documentation, contracts, asset records, and vendor databases.
  • Any other work assigned by management from time to time in line with business needs.

  • Branch connectivity
  • ILL for Branches, Zonal Offices, and Head Office
  • Telecom and data communication services
  • Vendor evaluation, negotiation, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Cost control, optimization, and budget adherence.
  • Ensuring service continuity for business-critical IT and telecom operations.

Qualifications & Experience (Indicative)

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 510 years of experience in procurement, preferably in an NBFC, BFSI, or regulated financial services environment.
  • Strong exposure to IT procurement, telecom services, and vendor management.
  • Knowledge of MSME procurement norms and regulatory expectations is desirable.
