Experience Range: 3 to 20 years (multiple openings based on experience & expertise in Compact Substations (CSS), Customer Service Procurement (CS), and MV Switchgear)

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic & Project Procurement

- Implement commodity strategies ensuring longterm, costeffective supply of materials.

- Plan and direct procurement for materials/services across the endtoend value chain.

- Support sourcing decisions, contract awarding, and execution.

2. Early Procurement & Technical Involvement

- Engage early in product development to drive DesigntoCost and costout initiatives.

- Conduct market analysis, technology benchmarking, and supplier innovation workshops.

3. Negotiations & Cost Optimization

- Prepare and conduct negotiations for feasibility and savings.

- Generate, document, and report savings (e.g., CNI) and monitor KPIs.

4. Supplier Management

- Drive supplier qualification, evaluation, development, and classification.

- Lead capability assessments and supplier development.

5. Compliance, Quality & Process Excellence

- Ensure adherence to PurchasetoPay (P2P) processes, procurement guidelines, and SAP.

- Ensure compliance with export control and customs requirements.

6. Stakeholder Collaboration

- Cooperate closely with internal customers for early involvement and alignment.

- Work with Engineering, R&D, Finance, Quality, and SCM functions.

Role Differentiation

38 Years (Buyer MV/CSS Procurement): Execute PO processes, vendor evaluation, RFQs, and medium negotiations.

1015 Years (Senior Specialist CSS Procurement): Lead early supplier involvement, conduct benchmarking, manage complex negotiations.

1520 Years (Team Lead CS Procurement): Own procurement strategy, lead teams, manage E2E supply chain for CS portfolio.

Qualifications

- Engineering degree preferred: Electrical / Electronics / Power.

- Knowledge in CSS, MV switchgear, substations, or CS procurement.

- Experience with SAP / ERP and procurement analytics.

- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
