Procurement Manager

Hairdrama is a leading hair fashion accessories brand having its own production and sampling unit in Ahmedabad. Unit has Kaarigars for embroidery, stitching and handwork.

We are looking for a production manager for our unit who can also lead procurement

• Plan and execute daily/weekly/monthly production schedules for Cutting, Embroidery, Stitching, Finishing, and Sampling.
• Evaluate Karigar costing and provide timely approvals to avoid payment delays.
• Oversee sample production for buyers and internal teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards and delivery timelines.
• Supervise all production lines and processes, manage manpower allocation, and resolve bottlenecks for smooth workflow.
• Prepare and circulate daily/weekly MIS reports highlighting delays, rejections, productivity issues, and process performance.
• Maintain production records as per ISO and industry standards, ensuring audit-ready documentation.
• Identify areas for process improvement and waste reduction; implement lean manufacturing practices where applicable.
• Please take timely corrective actions to reduce delays, downtime, and defects.
• Develop, update, and implement SOPs for all production processes; train staff to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to reduce defects and rework.
• Submit regular reports on production, rejections, and efficiency to senior management.
• Lead end-to-end procurement from registered vendors for finished goods, raw materials and job work. Ensure that the timelines are adhered to.
• Responsible for raising PRs, floating RFQs, releasing POs and ensuring ordered goods reach our warehouse on time and are inwarded successfully.
