Commtel Networks is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager with a passion for details to join our growing Business Commerce & Sourcing team in Navi Mumbai . This role plays a critical part in driving cost-effective procurement, supplier performance, and sourcing excellence across international projects and multiple geographies .

The role also offers strong people leadership exposure the selected candidate will lead a team of procurement officers , helping build scalable and efficient procurement operations.

This is an excellent opportunity to grow in the commercial & sourcing world of industrial technology deployment for global critical infrastructure projects , working closely with technology and enterprise-scale environments .

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and coordinate end-to-end procurement activities to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and reliability
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and monitor total margins for global projects.
• Take ownership of Purchase-Order-to-Cash process for assigned international projects involving multi-geography sourcing , managing global suppliers, partners & OEMs
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery timelines, and reliability
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to achieve best value
• Lead and mentor team of procurement officers, ensuring process discipline and performance
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance and compliance.
• Oversee purchase orders, inventory levels, delivery schedules, and procurement budgets
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, process improvements, and risk mitigation measures
• Coordinate with engineering, projects, finance, and operations teams to forecast procurement needs & monitor delivery timelines.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Passion for technical understanding as to what is being purchased & why, to improve the same.
• 510 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management for related systems / products ( )
• Proven experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost control
• Exposure to international sourcing and control of total project procurement budgets preferred
• Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools
• Strong analytical, communication, and people leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
