Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in handling a team of at least 3 to 5 members , ensuring timely sourcing, vendor coordination, and cost control.
- Source and procure interior design materials
- Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier and vendor relationships.
- Obtain competitive quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare purchase orders, maintain accurate procurement records, and ensure alignment with project budgets.
- Closely coordinate with the Accounts team to process purchase orders, submit vendor invoices, and ensure timely payments.
- Track order status, manage delivery timelines, and conduct quality checks upon receipt.
- Maintain and update vendor database with performance reviews, pricing history, and compliance documentation.
- Raise and follow up on vendor payments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure all financial documentation is accurate.
- Coordinate logistics and deliveries to project sites as per schedule.
- Stay informed about new materials, market trends, and sustainable sourcing options.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the interior design, architecture, or construction industry.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software/tools (e.g., ERP systems).
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
