Job Description

Key Responsibilities


Product Development & Production


  • Support product development and ensure OTIF and OFR are achieved.
  • Ensure growth of PH in terms of quantity/value sourced from vendors.
  • Finalize costs and ensure delivery on corporate GP targets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues.
  • Maintain order stock balance for OFR fulfilment.
  • Ensure adherence to timelines and critical path.


Quality Control


  • Monitor and support the Quality team with solutions and resolutions.
  • Facilitate coordination between QC and Production/Merchandising teams at PH.
  • Escalate quality issues to QC HO wherever required.
  • Ensure vendor compliance with QC standards.
  • Arbitrate issues related to penalties, rejections, and discounts.


Vendor Management


  • Formulate vendor strategy aligned with companys future goals.
  • Identify and appoint new vendors to strengthen the vendor base.
  • Develop a vendor mix including design-based vendors and cost-advantage vendors.
  • Support development and sustain existing vendors as per Product Team requirements.
  • Monitor vendor efficiency through visits and vendor assessments.
  • Ensure consistent utilization of vendor capacity.


Team Development & Management


  • Hire, deploy, and manage team to enhance productivity.
  • Identify training needs and ensure timely implementation.
  • Conduct detailed induction programs with the Training department.
  • Delegate and empower team members while retaining accountability.
  • Encourage partnership and manage conflicting opinions effectively.
  • Resolve disputes and foster a positive work environment.


PH Administration


  • Ensure smooth functioning of PH operations.
  • Provide adequate functional infrastructure at PH.
  • Coordinate with external agencies (Housekeeping, Security, etc.).
  • Ensure PH expenses remain within OPEX budget.
  • Ensure compliance with SPPI/Finance protocols and audit requirements.


Stakeholder Relationship Management


  • Effectively manage communication with internal departments, PH team, PSC, and vendors.
