Procurement Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactiveProcurement Executiveto join our team. You will be the vital link between our design vision and the reality of project execution. You will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials, fixtures, and services, negotiating contracts with vendors, and ensuring that every elementfrom structural components to bespoke interior finishesis delivered on time, on budget, and according to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sourcing & Material Procurement

• Strategic Sourcing:Identify and vet reliable vendors, contractors, and artisans capable of meeting high-end design and structural standards.
• BOQ & Specifications:Review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and architectural specifications to ensure alignment with project budgets.
• Quote Management:Request, analyze, and compare competitive proposals from multiple suppliers to optimize cost-efficiency without compromising design integrity.

2. Project Coordination & Execution

• Logistics & Timelines:Coordinate delivery schedules to align with site execution phases, mitigating the risk of delays.
• Site Liaison:Work closely with Project Managers and Architects to conduct site visits, verify quality upon delivery, and resolve any discrepancies between ordered goods and on-site requirements.

3. Vendor Relationship & Contract Management

• Negotiation:Conduct techno-commercial negotiations to secure the best rates, payment terms, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Performance Tracking:Maintain a database of vendor performance metrics, including on-time delivery, product quality, and responsiveness.
• Compliance:Ensure all vendor agreements, warranties, and certifications comply with legal and safety standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education:Bachelors degree
• Experience:23 years of experience in procurement, preferably within architecture, interior design, or construction firms.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

• Negotiation:Excellent communication skills to manage tough conversations with vendors.
• Analytical Thinking:Ability to balance cost-saving initiatives with aesthetic and quality requirements.
• Organizational Skills:Exceptional ability to track multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously.
