We are looking for a sharp, technically-minded Procurement Engineer to join our team as an individual contributor and grow with the company.

The Role

This is an entry-level position designed for a proactive engineer who wants to master the commercial side of the infrastructure business. You will be responsible for the technical sourcing of materials, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring our project sites have what they need, when they need it. You will report directly to the Management/Senior Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & RFQs: Identify potential vendors for construction materials and engineering components; float RFQs (Request for Quotations) based on project requirements.
• Technical Comparison: Review quotations and prepare "Techno-Commercial Comparisons" to help the team pick the best-suited vendors.
• Purchase Orders: Assist in the creation and tracking of Purchase Orders (POs) using our internal systems/ERP.
• Follow-ups: Actively coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials to various project sites.
• Database Management: Maintain and update an organized database of suppliers, price lists, and delivery timelines.
• Reporting: Prepare basic weekly trackers on procurement status and pending deliveries.

What Were Looking For

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech (Civil or Mechanical preferred). Freshers are welcome to apply!
• Skills: Strong understanding of engineering drawings and material specifications.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must. Any ERP is a huge advantage.
• Attributes: High integrity, excellent communication skills for vendor negotiations, and a "can-do" attitude.
• Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Vadodara.
