Job Title – Process Specialist - DB Finops

The Purpose of This Role 

Associates are expected to validate participant’s pension election forms and review for their eligibility as per the client direction and procedures. Review / reconcile payment information to verify all the details are updated accurately in the system and ensure that the payments are disbursed on time. 

The Value You Deliver 

• Authenticating participant’s pension election request based on client direction and process guidelines. 

• Assessing the paperwork submitted. Decision making whether to accept/reject the request. 

• Post benefits calculation and ensure systems are updated accurately for payment disbursement. 

• Performing Audits to determine accurate payments are sent out. 

• Managing the inventory by adhering to the SLAs agreed. 

• Generating and publishing reports for client/client facing. 

• Coordinating with Systems team to address all identified system bugs.

Technical / Behavioral 

• Requires in depth knowledge of defined Benefits domain 

• Good knowledge on reconciliation concepts  

• Demonstrate technical proficiency on working with multiple systems and applications  

• Ability to follow through on multiple project deliverables and escalate issues appropriately  

• Should be proficient in MS Excel.

How Your Work Impacts the Organization 

Payment Initiation Team:  Receives payment processing information from our upstream process like Retirement Initiation, Retirement Administration, and Calculations. All the details pertaining to the payments, participant eligibility, elections, and taxes are verified, and the payments are disbursed accordingly to the participant/beneficiary/Alternative Payee. This is the final process under DB operation to initiate the payment to participants after authentication. This team also performs quality check before the final retirement check cut for the DB product. 
 
The Expertise We’re Looking For 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 

• Prior experience in Defined Benefits domain would be an added advantage 

• 1.5 - 3 years of experience 

Location:  Bangalore 

Shift timings: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM
