Job Description

Role Requirements:

  • Purpose/Summary:

     

    The job primarily involves the verification and approval of hazardous cargo shipments in container units transported by sea on Maersk Line container ships. The candidate will validate customer documents, ensure compliance with IMDG regulations, and maintain accurate transaction records.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

     

    Review and approve dangerous cargo bookings in accordance with IMDG regulations and Maersk House rules.
    Validate documents submitted by customers, ensuring that all required documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulations.
    Communicate with customers to clarify booking details, resolve issues, and provide guidance on dangerous cargo regulations.
    Maintain accurate records of dangerous cargo transactions and approvals, ensuring that documentation is organized and readily accessible for review and audits.
    Ensure all processes are performed as per the agreed terms in the Service Level Agreement – Timely & Accurate.

     

    Work Schedule:

     

    Night shift hours: 06:00 PM - 03:00 AM
    Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.

    Qualifications:

     

    Education: Bachelor’s degree or any other similar discipline
    Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience
    Fluent in English, oral and written
    Working knowledge of MS Office
