The Process Excellence Lead role within Services Operations will be responsible for driving process improvements, operational efficiency, and digital transformation within the core operations and horizontal support functions. The role's efforts will focus on streamlining workflows, reducing operational cost, improving customer experience and ensuring risk elimination. The role will be responsible for completing process reviews, leveraging Lean and re-engineering methodologies & tooling, delivering data driven decision making and identifying areas that will be benefited by automation and technology enablement. The successful candidate will need to have strong project management discipline, an enthusiastic mindset towards driving change, and a strong team player that can operate across global virtual communities.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis when defining problems and proposing solutions
  • Ability to understand complex processes and drive pain point identification and re-engineering opportunities
  • Provide clear, business-focused advice on risk elimination & scale improvements as part of in-depth process reviews and ways of working initiatives
  • Project & program management across global initiatives with engagement across a diverse and significant stakeholder population between Operations, Technology and front office teams
  • Developing framework and governance models to ensure sustained and cross regional consistency in re-engineering delivery
  • Support reviews on aligning ongoing work effort to the Services strategic Target Operating Model
  • Advise on resource management and allocation of work within the team/project
  • Maintain a comprehensive grasp of how business areas collaborate towards achieving business objectives
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience in cash and trade operations in a similar industry
  • Lean or similar re-engineering discipline
  • Effective verbal and written skills
  • Effective communication and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in one or more areas of Cash and Trade Operations


Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
