Key Responsibilities:

Process Flow Diagram (PFD) and Basic Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID)
Process calculations and equipment sizing calculations
Mass and water balance; Heat and energy balance
Preparation of equipment list, specifications, and datasheets
Estimation of utility requirements
Preparation of design basis reports
Equipment, facilities, building layouts, and general arrangement drawings
Basic engineering and detailed engineering related to process and technologies
Process control requirements
Preparation of technical specifications for bid packages
Review of vendor offers and preparation of technical evaluation reports
Interface with Client, core technology supplier, process licensor, and OEMs to define battery limits across disciplines (utilities, MEP, civil, structural, architectural, etc.)
Evaluation and comparison of available technologies in the market
Selection of optimum technology considering CAPEX, OPEX, and value engineering
