Process Engineer - Boiler

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our team at BWE

Job Goals:

Proficient in process engineering, design calculations, thermal design & Hydraulics calculation for Water steam cycle and Balance of Plants, Performance calculation/optimization.

Main responsibilities:

• Engineering Management & Execution: Lead engineering management, tendering, and project development for power and process projects.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to domestic/international codes, regulations, and industry design standards to meet client requirements.
• Document Review & Preparation: Oversee and review engineering documents such as process flow diagrams, P&IDs, IO lists, instrument lists, valve lists, BOQs, and prepare process calculation reports, GA drawings, equipment arrangement drawings, and KKS numbering.
• Design Calculations: Conduct design pressure and temperature calculations for equipment, valves, and piping. Prepare and review PFDs and P&IDs.
• Detailed Engineering Activities: Manage project conceptualization, process improvement, power plant cycles, and risk identification and mitigation.
• Technical Specifications & Vendor Coordination: Prepare technical specifications, evaluate vendor offers, approve vendor drawings, and ensure equipment selection meets design specs. Coordinate between customers and vendors for the main power plant block and BOP.
• Team Management: Lead a team of designers and draftsmen to ensure timely release of drawings. Collaborate closely with parent company engineers for drawing reviews and updates.
• Feedback Incorporation & Issue Resolution: Collaborate with project managers, client engineers, subcontractors, and fabricators to address issues promptly and resolve fouling/overlap issues between pressure parts and piping. Complete as-built drawings as necessary.

Requirements:

• Qualification: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 12-15 years in the boiler industry
• Location: Noida (Delhi NCR)
• Languages: Proficient in English and Hindi
