Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical / Process Engineering .
8-15 years of hands-on experience in Process Design Engineering within the Oil & Gas industry .
Strong exposure to FEED and Detailed Engineering projects (onshore/offshore).
Proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, UniSim, or equivalent.
Experience in preparation of process calculations, equipment sizing, and utilities design.
Good understanding of Oil & Gas process systems, safety philosophy, and operational considerations.
Strong communication skills and experience working in multi-disciplinary project environments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and review process design deliverables including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), heat & material balance (H&MB), process datasheets, and design philosophies.
Perform process simulations and calculations for Oil & Gas facilities such as separators, compressors, heaters, dehydration units, and utilities.
Participate in FEED, basic, and detailed engineering phases of projects.
Conduct and support HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and design review sessions.
Coordinate with piping, mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, civil, and safety teams to ensure integrated and optimized designs.
Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with process requirements and project specifications.
Support preparation of technical bid packages, scopes of work, and cost optimization studies.
Handle process-related technical queries, design changes, and interface issues.
Ensure adherence to applicable international codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO, IEC, etc.).
Mentor junior process engineers and review their deliverables.
