Job Description
Responsibilities
Policy Maintenance: Handle post-issue servicing requests for Life & Annuity policies, including financial and non-financial transactions such as policy changes, updates, corrections, fund transfers, and beneficiary changes
Transaction Processing: Accurately process financial transactions, including premium payments, surrenders, loans, and withdrawals, as well as non-financial transactions
Data Entry: Enter and update policy and transaction information into the system with high accuracy
Documentation: Review, verify, and process documents related to post-issue transactions
Communication: Communicate with clients and agents to obtain necessary information, resolve issues, and provide updates on request status
Compliance: Ensure all post-issue activities comply with company policies, state regulations, and underwriting guidelines
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve moderately complex policy-related questions and issues following pre-established guidelines
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients and agents, ensuring satisfaction and striving to meet and exceed service standards
Industry Knowledge: Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the life and annuity insurance industry, products, services, and processes
Qualitative review of the documents received for completion and gather additional requirements
Prioritize transactions according to documented guidelines to meet SLA
Plans and organizes tasks and work responsibilities to achieve objectives
Assist with/perform other team tasks as required
Ability to accurately interpret and compile information from a variety of sources and systems
Interact with Onshore /Offshore and customer in a respectful and professional manner via email.
Manage own work in process and support team efforts to ensure that individual, team goals are met
Maintain key records like working files, email for reference and audit purpose
Should be able to handle basic day to day requirements of excel
Minimum Qualifications
/SkillsGraduation in any stream except B.Tech and Technical Graduation & Law
Essential Skills
Relevant experience in Life and Annuities Post Issue Services
Understanding of HIPAA (PHI/PII)
Strong English Communication (Both written & verbal)
Proactive communication & High analytical skills should be able to foresee issues and suggest solutions, with impactful data
Displays energy and enthusiasm in approaching the job
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ready to work on stretched working hours
Ability to independently interact with internal and external customers
Customer service focus
Basic Computer knowledge along with typing speed of 35 words/minute
Insurance knowledge
Good communication and interaction skills as needs to trained by onshore partners
