Job Summary
The Process and Governance Head, Coverage, India, is a pivotal role within our Coverage function. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements, supporting the Coverage Head/Co-Heads in governance, compliance, and regulatory matters, and driving various support initiatives at an overall Coverage portfolio level. The individual will also continue to serve as the Team Lead for Assistant Relationship Managers (ARMs) in India, providing leadership and guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all local regulatory requirements.
- Support Coverage Head/Co-Heads in governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external regulatory audits and reviews.
- Drive support initiatives at an overall Coverage portfolio level.
- Provide business feedback and assist in automation projects.
- Oversee the implementation of new processes and systems to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Lead the Business Enablement Team, ensuring alignment with Coverage goals.
- Continue to serve as TL for ARMs in India, providing guidance and support.
- Participate in and lead new projects aimed at improving business processes.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure the successful execution of projects.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with compliance and governance.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies.

- In-depth knowledge of local regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

Qualifications

Professional Background:
- Preferred 15 years of experience in Banking and / or Financial Services industry.
- Significant experience in governance, compliance, and regulatory roles.

Leadership Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role, managing teams and driving performance.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and projects.

Regulatory Interactions:
- Experience in dealing with regulatory bodies and managing regulatory audits and reviews.
- Proven track record of successfully navigating complex regulatory environments.

Project Management:
- Experience in managing projects and initiatives.
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Risk Management:
- Experience in developing and implementing risk management strategies.
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks in a dynamic regulatory environment.

Education:
- A bachelor's / master's degree in finance, business administration, law, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees or certifications in governance, compliance, or risk management are a plus.
