Private Equity Analyst

Analyst Real Estate Private Equity | Mumbai

We are looking to hire a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join our Investment Team in Mumbai. This role offers strong exposure to the full investment lifecycle, including acquisitions, underwriting, fundraising support, business planning, and investment strategy execution within a real estate private equity platform.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Modeling & Investment Analysis

• Build sophisticated Excel models to underwrite acquisitions including IRR, equity multiples, sensitivity analysis, and cash flow scenarios across capital structures.
• Evaluate commercial office and industrial/warehousing real estate opportunities through detailed underwriting and market analysis.
• Review and challenge third-party developer models and key assumptions (costs, yields, rents, timelines).

Fundraising & Business Planning

• Assist in preparing quarterly GP-level business plans for fundraising and board discussions.
• Support preparation of investor materials, PPMs, and term sheets in coordination with legal and advisory teams.

Due Diligence & Deal Execution

• Coordinate with consultants on legal, technical, tax, and commercial due diligence.
• Support transaction documentation review, deal timelines, and closing processes.

Strategic Reporting & Asset Monitoring

• Prepare investment committee presentations and strategy notes.
• Maintain performance tracking dashboards and assist with post-acquisition monitoring and analysis.

Candidate Profile

• 34 years of experience in real estate investing, private equity, investment banking, or a similar financial role.
• Experience with real estate financial modeling, deal structuring, and investment analysis.
• Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and presentation abilities.
• MBA (Finance), CA, or equivalent from a reputed institution.
• CFA (completed or pursuing) is an added advantage.
