Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer

Ci4 Autonomous Intelligence builds advanced sensor payloads, autonomous platforms, and AI-driven command and control systems for defense and security. Our technologies enable rapid detection, tracking, and response to threats across multiple domains sea, land, air, and space. We develop mission-critical hardwaresoftware systems spanning RF sensing, radar payloads, satellite communications, and autonomous surveillance platforms, integrated through an AI-powered multi-domain command center. Ci4 has strong traction with the Indian Navy, including 5 iDEX awards, and a growing pipeline of next-generation defense products. We are building a globally relevant defense technology company focused on high-reliability execution, production readiness, and real-world deployments.

Own end-to-end PCB layout delivery for RF and high-speed digital electronics, ensuring designs meet EMI/EMC, thermal, SI/PI, and ruggedized (mil-grade) requirements. You will deliver boards that are performance-driven, manufacturable, and ready for qualification.

• Create PCB layouts for RF + mixed-signal + high-speed digital systems.
• Drive constraint-based placement, routing, and stack-up decisions.
• Apply strong Signal Integrity / Power Integrity (SI/PI) practices:
• controlled impedance, return paths, decoupling strategy, plane management
• Design layouts compliant with EMI/EMC and noise mitigation best practices.
• Consider thermal performance, heat dissipation, and rugged operating environments.
• Ensure DFM/DFT readiness: test points, assembly constraints, vendor checks.
• Support bring-up, debug, and iterative revision improvements.
• Maintain libraries, documentation, and clean release discipline.

• 412+ years PCB layout experience with shipped production boards
• Strong fundamentals in mixed-signal, RF, and high-speed digital layout
• Experience designing for EMI/EMC compliance and noise control
• Familiarity with impedance control and stack-up planning

• Hands-on bring-up and debugging experience
• Exposure to mil-grade certification workflows (environmental, ruggedization, compliance)
• Experience with defense, aerospace, or industrial-grade electronics
