PCB & Hardware Design Engineer Power Electronics


Job Details

Job Type: Full-time | On-site

Experience Required: 2 5 Years

Industry Preference: EV / Automotive / Power Electronics

Joining: Immediate Joiners Preferred (upto 15 Days notice)

Hiring Mode: Walk-in Interview Only at Delhi


Key Responsibilities

Design multi-layer PCBs for high-performance power and control systems using Altium Designer or equivalent tools.

Develop and validate analog, digital, and power circuits (>400V, >50A) ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability.

Perform schematic design, signal & power integrity (SI/PI) analysis, and thermal management to minimize EMI/EMC and ripple issues.

Collaborate with R&D, Mechanical, and Production teams to ensure manufacturability and design accuracy.

Conduct DRC, DFM, and DFT reviews for production-ready designs.

Generate complete manufacturing documentation including Gerber files, BOMs, stack-ups, and assembly drawings .

Maintain and update PCB component libraries (symbols, footprints, and 3D models).

Support prototype testing, debugging, and transition to mass production .

Guide or mentor junior engineers / team members (team-handling experience preferred).


Required Skills & Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

25 years of hands-on experience in PCB design and hardware development.

Experience in Power Electronics / EV industry is mandatory or highly preferred .

Strong expertise in high-voltage and high-current PCB design , power plane optimization, and component placement.

Proficiency in Altium Designer or similar PCB design tools.

Familiarity with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, RS-485, and CAN .

Good understanding of IPC standards (IPC-2221, IPC-A-600) and EMC/EMI best practices.

Strong debugging, documentation, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Team handling or technical leadership experience preferred .


Preferred / Added Advantage

Experience with EV systems , Battery Management Systems (BMS), EV chargers, inverters, or motor drives.

Exposure to automotive or industrial electronics standards .

Knowledge of thermal, SI, and PI simulation tools .
