What youll be doing...
The Pega COP team of Product & Marketing Org leverages AI/ML, Pega Customer Decisioning Hub technology, and agile software development to enhance customer and sales representative experiences across engagement systems. As part of the MarTech Pega Decisioning team, responsibilities include designing and implementing Pega-based solutions to optimize customer experience. This role involves collaboration with global teams in the USA and India, including product owners, Pega developers, architects, data scientists, front-end team members, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Key duties include developing decisioning and recommendation strategies for personalization and utilizing data science/decisioning science skills to build and continuously optimize Next Best Experience (NBx) logic.
Leading, developing, and maintaining applications by evaluating client needs, analyzing requirements, and developing software systems.
Demonstrating the ability to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical requirements to meet expectations.
Defining the execution plan and approach based on project scope, expected timeline, and available budget/resources.
Managing stakeholder communication and leading project status updates with client groups and IT teams.
Leading and developing high-performing teams, supporting Agile working practices with a diversified cultural workforce.
Defining Best Practices, understanding technology trends, and know-how about open-source technologies.
Providing framework-level solutions and bringing the best design and architecture for the problem statement.
Governing Pega product & platform and also have functional knowledge end-to-end, including Sales, services, and support platform and functions.
Leading and developing end-to-end workflow management and orchestration to build a holistic customer journey orchestration.
Managing and supporting solutions for business programs and migration functions.
Having strong technical expertise in Pega and a functional understanding of end-to-end architecture.

You'll need to have:
Bachelors degree or eight or more years of work experience.
Ten or more years of relevant work experience.
Four or more years of experience in the role of Pega Decisioning Architect with designing new applications and use cases.
Six or more years of experience in designing Pega applications, including gathering of requirements, formulating the design of the Class structure, Rules Sets structure, Organization structure, identification of Properties, and design of Flows based on the requirements, Integration & Queues.
Deep understanding of Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) concepts, including decision strategies, NBAD framework, Adaptive Models, Interaction History, Cassandra, Profiler, and other major components.
End-to-end analysis, build, optimization & execution of NBx strategies for key customer engagements.
Strong knowledge of relational databases and/or NoSQL databases.
Develop high-quality solutions in alignment with Pega best practices and promote an out-of-the-box first approach.
Experience with integrating Pega Decisioning tools with external systems and databases, leveraging APIs (SOAP/REST).
Experience in the design, development, and deployment of CDH Solutions end-to-end.
Certified Pega Decisioning Consultant and Certified Pega Data Scientist.
Knowledge of PEGA Guardrails, performance tuning, and building quality applications.
Experience in Java and Oracle technologies.
Experience in using debugging tools like PAL and Tracer.
Experience in designing and collaborating with senior design/architects.
Experience in tying metrics with business requirements and looking at the customer experience.
Experience in Pega Lead System Architect.
Support and perform code reviews, unit tests, end-to-end tests, and performance tests to maintain rigorous quality standards
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Master's degree.
Experience in leading teams of designers/architects of OSS/BSS applications.
Monitor solution performance and recommend continuous improvements.
Strong domain experience in planning and product development.
Knowledge of security vulnerabilities and implementing security by design.
Ability to provide estimates/sizing for high-level requirements.
Ability to come up with alternate solutions when product challenges are met.
