Overview

Our team in Azure GenAI is at the cutting edge of developing large language model technologies to power Azure AI Platform products and offering them as a service for both internal and external applications. We collaborate deeply with OpenAI and numerous Microsoft product teams, including GitHub and Office.

The team is looking for a passionate, creative, and analytical individual contributor with a background in designing and scaling distributed systems with focus on safety and performance. You will work on making large language model available on scale for product-driven scenarios.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and common Design Patterns
Prior experience of scaling engineering systems with focus on performance and security
12+ years of relevant software development experience and proficient in C# (Java or C++)
Experience in DevOps to maintain live services and\or application frameworks
Cloud and services experience, with Azure cloud experience highly desirable

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

Confident and articulate in expressing ideas to a mixed audience with varying views and challenges
Cultural sensitivity and a proven ability to work with teams and partners across multiple geographies
A sense of personal ownership is required, together with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines while managing internal stakeholder expectations

Responsibilities

Development for OpenAI models customization and large scale training
Scaling Engineering system and Enterprise readiness
Collaboration with product groups in Microsoft
