Located in Bangalore, Patil-I-Labs is designed to complement Patil Groups manufacturing and track engineering capabilities by developing next-generation products in Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Machine Vision.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced technical leader to spearhead the development of advanced embedded and deep-tech products. In this role, you will oversee the entire product lifecyclefrom conceptual design and engineering development to testing, debugging, installation, and final commissioning. You will guide cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring that all solutions meet rigorous quality, reliability, and performance standards while staying aligned with customer requirements and industry regulations.

As a senior leader, you will drive innovation, mentor technical teams, and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and product excellence. You will bring strong expertise in embedded software development, hardware integration, sensors, instrumentation, and communication systems, along with proficiency in C, C++, RTOS, and modern embedded platforms. Experience with low-power devices, IoT architectures, Industry 4.0 systems, and AI/ML tools will be essential for contributing to next-generation product initiatives.

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who excels at technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and building robust, scalable embedded solutions in cutting-edge technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Experienced leader in embedded systems and deep-tech product development
• Manages complete product lifecycle: design, development, testing, debugging, installation, and commissioning
• Delivers high-quality, reliable solutions aligned with customer requirements and industry standards
• Leads and mentors engineering teams, fostering collaboration and innovation
• Drives process improvements to enhance efficiency and performance
• Skilled in embedded software, hardware integration, sensors, instrumentation, and communication systems
• Proficient in C, C++, OOP, RTOS, and embedded system tools
• Knowledgeable in low-power devices, long-life batteries, IoT, Industry 4.0, and communication protocols
• Experienced with AI/ML tools
• Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
• Well-versed in relevant industry standards and regulations

Qualifications

• BE, BTech, ME, MTech, M.Sc, Ph.D. (ECE, EEE, E&I and other electronics branches)
• More than 10 years of relevant experience
