Principal Scientist - Molecular Biology

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our team and contribute to molecular biology and cell culture-based research activities. The role involves performing a variety of laboratory techniques related to recombinant construct development, protein characterization, and mammalian cell culture, along with accurate documentation and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.

• Molecular Biology activities involved in making recombinant constructs for stable and transient gene expression like PCR amplification, restriction digestion, molecular cloning of genes, sequence confirmation, glycerol stock preparation, large scale endotoxin free DNA preparation.
• Analytical skills and activities related to protein estimation and characterization like CEDEX, ELISA, SDS/Western Blot, Octet and HPLC.
• Standard cell culture activity such as: Vial thaw, Subculturing, Transfection, single cell cloning, cryo-preservation, fed batch, Monoclonality assurance.
• Document and record maintenance like SOP/GM and data recording in eLN. Timely revision of SOPs.
• Candidate should be able to coordinate with cross functional team for on time delivery of assigned projects.

Educational Requirements :

• MS/MSc/MTech in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or any other related Lifesciences with at least 6 years of industrial experience and not more than 8 Years.
