Were looking for a Principal Scientist DSP who will own and lead downstream processing for recombinant food proteins from purification strategy to pilot-scale validation and production deployment.

This is not a maintenance role. This is a build-from-scratch, scale-with-speed, think and act-like-a-founder role.

What you'll drive

• Architect and optimize end-to-end downstream processes for food-grade recombinant proteins
• Design scalable purification workflows (clarification, chromatography, membrane filtration, drying)
• Lead scale-up from bench to pilot and production trials
• Improve yield, purity, cost efficiency, and robustness
• Build and mentor a strong DSP team
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Upstream, Analytical, QA & Regulatory
• Translate experimental data into process decisions and platform strategy
• Contribute to IP, innovation, and long-term manufacturing roadmap

What Were Looking For

• Ph.D. or Masters (with significant experience) in Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Food Engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years in protein purification / downstream bioprocessing
• Demonstrated scale-up experience (lab pilot plant)
• Strong expertise in chromatography & membrane processes
• Experience in recombinant proteins / food-grade manufacturing preferred
• Builder mindset. High ownership. Comfortable with ambiguity.
• Leadership with hands-on execution ability
