A Day in the Life
A Security and Risk professional developing and delivering solutions that protect SAP systems and data by establishing policies, practices, and tools that prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, or disruption. Strong understanding of information security management principles, SAP application security implementation methodologies, role-based access controls, distributed systems administration, and distributed system recovery. A Security and Risk professional developing and delivering solutions that protect SAP systems and data by establishing policies, practices, and tools that prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, or disruption. SAP Platform Security professionals develop and deliver solutions - including design and implementation of SAP Security Roles, Segregation of Duties Analysis Rules, Security Role Provisioning solutions, Security Workflow, Business Process Controls, Security Analytics, Enterprise GRC Solutions, Automated External Application Scanning, and Automated Source Code Analysis.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Develop and deliver solutions - including design and implementation of SAP Security Roles, Segregation of Duties Analysis Rules, Security Role Provisioning solutions, Security Workflow, Business Process Controls, Security Analytics, Enterprise GRC Solutions,
Strong experience in remediating SOX control findings.
Experience in Firefighter configuration, upgrades and maintenance of Virsa components.
Experience in working with corporate internal and external auditors for SAP related controls.
Working experience with vulnerability scanning tools, such as Rapid7, Nexpose, 4S, Security Bridge and Pen Tests. Experience in remediating vulnerability scan findings.
Automated External Application Scanning, and Automated Source Code Analysis.
Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
Uses considerable judgment to determine solutions and seeks guidance on complex problems.
Configure security and associated solutions in SAP ECC and S/4 to meet unique Diabetes security requirements. Conduct security assessments.
Strong understanding of information security management principles, SAP application security implementation methodologies, role-based access controls, distributed systems administration, and distributed system recovery.
independently completing complex security-related tasks, taking on tasks of increased complexity.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
10+ years of IT experience with a bachelor’s degree
Experience administering SAP systems
Experience in administering SAP Portal, SAP NWDI.
Experience with Solution Manger 7.2.
Advanced degree in Computer Science or business-related discipline
Experience working in the Medical Device Industry or other regulated industry
Demonstrated capability working with SAP administrative tools including Solution Manager
SAP security related issue troubleshooting and resolution
