Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Principal Product Manager to lead product and enhancement of our Shopping Experience platform. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of how consumers interact with our products, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and personalised shopping journey.


Ideal Experience: 8-12 years

Reporting to: Director of Product, Shopping Experience


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead product management in a consumer facing role
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, data science, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time
  • Look after Shopping Experience of our end users and consumers
  • Define Product strategy and prioritising features to deliver world class shopping experience
  • Define product roadmap and communicate the long-term vision and strategy for the Shopping Experience, aligning with the company’s overall goals and objectives
  • Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive trends to inform product direction
  • Champion the voice of the consumer, ensuring that all product decisions are rooted in deep consumer insights and data
  • Conduct user research, analyze customer feedback, and leverage analytics to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement
  • Utilize data analytics and A/B testing to measure the success of product initiatives and iterate based on results
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor product performance, making data-driven decisions and AI led personalised shopping experience
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, exploring innovative ways to enhance the user experience
  • Mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.



Must Have Skills and Experience:


  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable plans
  • Deep understanding of UI/UX with an ability to craft groundbreaking user experiences by
  • combining data and user research.
  • Customer obsessive mindset
  • Proficiency in data analysis and experience with tools like SQL, Google Analytics, or similar.
  • Unending desire to drive quality execution with excellence -outcome oriented mindset to drive organisational goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver stretch goals in an ambiguous, innovative, dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Capable of influencing stakeholders across different levels, enabling a growth mindset within
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Good to Have Skills and Experience:


  • Familiarity with Machine Learning, AI and Personalisation is a plus.
  • Experience in a high growth consumer internet business.
  • Deep understanding of UI/UX with an ability to craft groundbreaking user experiences by combining data and user research
  • Startup and B2C/D2C experience is a big plus



Educational Qualifications:

  • B.Tech/M.Tech/M.S in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • MBA/PGDM or advanced degree in a relevant stream
