For this role, you will work closely with engineering, UX design, and research teams in India and Redmond to execute on this vision and deliver on it.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

9+ years of technology industry experience. 
Track record of customer driven product innovation including user research, curiosity on customer feedback, concept testing, data driven measurement, and iteration and audience rollout planning
Proven ability to drive large scale projects requiring cross organization collaboration and leadership. Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence without authority.
Experience working with distributed teams and leading cross-org initiatives. Deep understanding of product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and iteration.
Ability to establish key metrics that evaluate customer success and service quality.
Excellent cross group collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to lead virtual teams to deliver product milestones.
Self-motivated and self-directed with Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Telecommunications or related technical discipline or equivalent experience working in the field of software development is preferred.

Responsibilities

As Principal Product Manager for the OneNote team, you will be responsible for shaping the vision and roadmap for the Web and Mobile endpoints of this product and execute on the strategy which includes next gen AI powered experiences like Copilot Notebooks.

Typical Product manager competencies are a must including:

Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for key OneNote experiences across platforms.
Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, design, research, and data science to deliver high-impact features.
Translate customer insights and business goals into clear, actionable product requirements.
Influence and align stakeholders across organization and geographies to deliver cohesive product outcomes.
Use data and experimentation to validate hypotheses and inform product decisions.
Mentor and guide junior PMs, contributing to a culture of excellence and growth.
