Why this role exists

To own client-facing technical decisions and complex technical implementations so the platform scales, releases stay predictable, and engineering does not turn into a services team. This role absorbs client complexity and protects product velocity.

What you own

You own client-facing technical solutioning across architecture, integrations, data flows, security, and complex technical implementations. This includes SaaS, on-premise, private cloud, and hybrid deployments. You are the final technical authority in client conversations and translate business needs into scalable technical designs.

You own the design, planning, and execution of technical go-lives , coordinating closely with Zykrr engineering, delivery pods, and client IT teams. You define go-live architecture, readiness criteria, cutover plans, rollback strategies, and ensure both sides are aligned for a clean launch.

You work hands-on where requiredbuilding, configuring, debugging, and validating critical integrations, data pipelines, authentication flows, security setups, and private cloud or on-prem configurationsespecially in high-risk or first-of-kind scenarios.

You own integration and data architecture standards, including APIs, payloads, sync logic, and failure handling, ensuring client-specific work strengthensnot fragmentsthe platform.

You own technical security and IT sign-offs, including security questionnaires, architecture reviews, data residency requirements, and enforcement of platform standards around access control, encryption, and compliance.

You co-own platform integrity with the Head of Technology by making clear decisions on config vs bug vs feature and converting client needs into reusable platform patterns.

How success is measured

• Head of Technology spends less time on client calls and more time shipping.
• Technical go-lives (including on-prem and private cloud) are executed cleanly and predictably.
• Complex integrations work the first time or fail fast with clear recovery.
• Product releases stay on track despite enterprise complexity.
• Reusable technical patterns increase across clients.

Who you are

You have 710+ years in SaaS or platform engineering with deep experience in APIs, integrations, data systems, security, and hands-on technical implementation across cloud, private cloud, and on-prem environments.

You are comfortable owning critical execution, pushing back when needed, and operating with high judgment in front of senior engineers and enterprise IT leaders.

You are a systems thinker with deep engineering judgment who knows how to turn messy client requirements into clean, scalable platform reality.
