Principal Netsuite Consultant

As a NetSuite Principal Consultant will serve as a strategic advisor and technical expert,

leading the implementation, optimization, and transformation of NetSuite solutions at an

enterprise level. This role requires deep expertise in NetSuite architecture, complex

customizations, and integrations, along with the ability to engage with executive stakeholders,

define strategy, and drive business transformation. You will lead project teams, oversee the

NetSuite support team, set best practices, and play a key role in influencing decision-making

across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise Strategy & Business Transformation

Engage with senior leadership and executive stakeholders to define and execute NetSuite strategies that align with business goals.

Drive business transformation initiatives by leveraging NetSuites full capabilities to optimize operations and scalability.

Influence decision-making by providing data-driven insights and ERP best practices.

Manage client relationships at a strategic level, ensuring seamless adoption and long-term success.

NetSuite Solution Architecture & Customization

Design and implement enterprise-level NetSuite solutions, including complex customizations and integrations with other business systems.

Lead the development of NetSuite architecture, ensuring a scalable and future-proof ERP environment.

Establish best practices for NetSuite configuration, security, and performance optimization.

Leadership of the NetSuite Support Team

Lead and mentor the NetSuite support team, ensuring efficient issue resolution and system optimization.

Oversee the management of NetSuite support tickets, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.

Develop and implement best practices for system support, troubleshooting, and user assistance.

Monitor system performance, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.

Provide technical guidance and training to support team members, fostering continuous

improvement.Project & Team Leadership

Lead cross-functional project teams through NetSuite implementations, upgrades, and

enhancements.

Oversee project planning, execution, and stakeholder communication, ensuring projects

are delivered on time and within budget.

Set and enforce best practices for project management, development, and deployment.

System Governance, Compliance & Reporting

Define and maintain system governance policies, ensuring compliance with industry

standards and regulatory requirements.

Develop and manage reporting structures within NetSuite to provide real-time insights

into business performance.

Ensure audit readiness by maintaining strong internal controls and securing approvals

from internal/external auditors.

Training, Knowledge Sharing & Continuous Improvement

Lead training initiatives to drive user adoption and maximize the value of NetSuite across

the organization.

Stay up to date with NetSuite advancements by participating in training, conferences,

and professional networks.

Continuously assess and enhance NetSuite capabilities to support evolving business

needs.

Qualifications

8+ years of relevant experience in ERP consulting, with a strong focus on NetSuite implementations.

Bachelor's or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.

Extensive experience with NetSuite ERP, SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and SuiteCommerce.

Proven track record of leading end-to-end NetSuite implementations, including

requirement gathering, configuration, customization, and post-go-live support.

Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS),

and multi-subsidiary consolidations.

Hands-on experience with NetSuite integrations using RESTlets, APIs, and third-party

tools.

Expertise in data migration, reporting (Saved Searches, SuiteAnalytics), and

dashboard creation.

Strong knowledge of NetSuite Financial Modules, including General Ledger,

Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition, and Advanced

Revenue Management (ARM).

Experience working with NetSuite Projects module, including Project Accounting,

Resource Allocation, and Timesheets.

Experience working with SaaS, software, and global enterprise clients.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to train and mentor junior consultants and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant or NetSuite Administrator certification is a plus.
