Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Principal Member of Technical Staff. The professional will play a critical role in leading technical projects and mentoring engineering teams. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring project deliverables meet technical and quality expectations, and contributing to the development of innovative solutions in VLSI and embedded system design.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced training in Digital Design, Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM, VHDL, DFT
• Mentor Engineers/students on industry-grade RTL-to-GDSII design flows
• Guide live industry-oriented projects and capstone programs
• Debug and troubleshoot RTL / Verification code (Verilog, SV, UVM)
• Develop high-quality technical content, labs, and real-time use cases
• Contribute to R&D initiatives in VLSI/EDA domain for education purposes

Required Technical Skills (Any of the Below)

RTL & Verification Track:

• Verilog / SystemVerilog / UVM
• Functional Verification
• Testbench Architecture
• Coverage-driven Verification
• Debugging & Assertions

Physical Design / Backend Track:

• Synthesis, STA, PnR
• DFT concepts & implementation
• Timing Closure
• Low Power Design concepts

Tools Exposure:

• Siemens EDA / Synopsys / Cadence tool exposure is a plus

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and expertise in VLSI Design, Verification, and Embedded Systems development
• Proficiency in hardware description languages (HDLs) such as Verilog, VHDL, and SystemVerilog
• Experience with simulation and verification tools, as well as digital design and modeling techniques
• Strong understanding of ASIC or FPGA design flows and methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and debugging skills
• Experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams
• Proven ability to manage technical projects and collaborate effectively across teams
• Masters or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
