Principal I, Security Assessment & Risk Management

This role is part of Alcon's Information Technology function, a team that delivers cutting-edge technology solutions to Alcon associates and customers to help our people and the world see brilliantly.

Key Responsibilities:

The Principal I, Security Assessment & Risk Management (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for overseeing daily security assessments and risk management operations, ensuring effective risk identification and mitigation across the organization. Specifics include:

• Lead the execution of risk assessments, audits, and security evaluations to identify risks and vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement risk mitigation and security strategies
• Monitor and ensure compliance with organizational security policies and procedures
• Provide support in managing incidents and addressing security breaches
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation related to risk management and security processes
• Support the broader security strategy by ensuring day-to-day risk management tasks are completed effectively and make decisions on these tasks
• Provide recommendations for improving risk management strategies and support senior management in complex decision-making processes.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

5-10 years of total experience.

Experience in Auditing (IT/Cyber security)

Knowledge of Control frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, HIPAA, GDPR etc.

Certifications will be added advantage (CISA, CISM)

Excellent communication skills

Need to be able to identify solutions, risk management.

Ability to work across multiple assignments.

Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
