Role Overview:

The institute is seeking a dynamic academician with strong administrative capabilities and a proven record of leadership in a graduate college. The ideal candidate will ensure academic excellence, drive institutional growth, and strengthen regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership

• Provide strategic direction aligned with the institutes vision and long-term growth plans
• Maintain and enhance academic standards across all schools and programs
• Promote research, innovation, faculty development, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ensure curriculum relevance in line with industry and regulatory requirements

Institutional Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with MAKAUT, AICTE, UGC, and other statutory norms
• Lead accreditation, ranking, and quality assurance initiatives
• Strengthen institutional policies and governance frameworks

Administrative & Operational Oversight

• Oversee academic operations, budgeting, and resource planning
• Supervise faculty bodies and administrative leadership
• Drive student engagement, discipline, and overall campus culture

Strategic Growth & Industry Interface

• Strengthen industry partnerships and international collaborations
• Enhance institutional visibility and brand positioning
• Drive innovation and outcome-based education initiatives

Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 20 years of experience
• Ph.D. in any discipline (strongly preferred)
• Candidates with a Masters degree may be considered; however, Ph.D. holders will be given strong preference
• Prior experience as Professor, Associate Professor, or Dean is mandatory.
• Prior experience as a Principal will be highly preferred.
• Experience handling NAAC accreditation, AICTE/UGC compliance, and university affiliations
• Demonstrated academic leadership and administrative exposure
• Strong research profile and academic contributions
