Job Description
Mandatory Skills:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle 12c, 19c, and 23ai databases.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience with Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata, ExaCS, ExaCC).
- Experience with Grid Infrastructure, DOM0 patching, and database patching.
- Expertise in Oracle Fleet Management Tool.
- Strong knowledge of backup and recovery mechanisms including RMAN.
- Prior experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Oracle Data Guard setup, configuration, and DR drill execution.
- Solid understanding of Flash Recovery Area (FRA) and data recovery processes.
- Experience in implementing database security features (e.g., Database Vault).
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Golden Gate for data replication.
Good to Have Skills
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience in PL/SQL development and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of Oracle BI tools (OBIEE, Oracle Analytics).
- Automation scripting using Unix Shell, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with other RDBMS like MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, PerconaDB.
- Understanding of DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
