Principal Engineer – Architecting Multi-Cloud DBaaS at Enterprise Scale

We're looking for a Principal Engineer who can own this space someone who brings deep technical depth, strong architectural instincts, and the leadership to raise the bar for an entire team.

What you'll own:

Define and evolve the control plane architecture for scalability, performance, and security

Write and ship production-grade Golang for core platform services

Architect multi-cloud networking VPCs, VNets, load balancing, private connectivity

Lead the design of high-impact capabilities: provisioning, lifecycle management, security controls

Set standards for CI/CD, observability, logging, and reliability

Drive root cause analysis and long-term resolution for critical production issues

Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and shape a high-trust engineering culture

Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, SRE, and QE teams

What we're looking for:

12+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years in cloud/distributed systems

Strong Golang expertise with a track record in cloud-native, distributed platforms

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, multi-cloud infra, and networking fundamentals

Prior Principal or Staff Engineer experience in DBaaS, SaaS, or large-scale cloud infrastructure

A systems thinker who can move seamlessly between architecture and execution

Experience working with geographically distributed teams
