The Database & Data Platform Architecture team sits at the intersection of product engineering, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture. The team defines standardized database platforms, DBaaS offerings, and migration frameworks across on-premises and multi-cloud environments (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP). Our mission is to transform deep database expertise into repeatable, productized solutions that accelerate adoption, reduce risk, and deliver measurable business value.

Job Summary

The Principal Database Product Architect is a senior technical leadership role responsible for owning the end-to-end architecture, strategy, and roadmap for Oracle-based and multi-cloud database products and services.

This role sits clearly above a Senior DBA, shifting focus from operational execution to platform architecture, product design, and cross-cloud patterns. Leveraging deep Oracle Core DBA expertise (10g through 23ai) and large-scale migration experience, the architect defines standardized architectures, reusable blueprints, and DBaaS platforms that support enterprise and mission-critical workloads.

The role partners closely with product management, cloud and application architects, build teams, and operations to ensure database platforms are scalable, secure, resilient, and differentiated.
