Job Description

Responsibilities

Project Management skills ( scope, time, quality)
Use your SAP BW and HANA expertise to support successful project deliveries
Delivery End to End SAP BI projects using constantly updated BW on HANA technologies in a large and complex landscape environment
Experience Project delivery in pharma environment
Participate in the design and provide input in the design of user dialog and non-dialog roles, including Fire Fighter design and monitoring processes
Provide front end visualization and report modifications
Work from the functional/business requirements to develop BW reports primarily using Business Explorer (BEx)
Document test plans and complete Unit Testing of development objects and reports
Proficiency in BOBJ tools ( WEBI, Dashboard Designer, IDT
Design, document and implement planning in SAP BPC 10
Ensure the quality and consistency of the developments delivered from offshore
Define and execute several changes and enhancements to existing projects
Tasks implementation
Actively participate in the coordination of changes into the SAP BW/Portal eco-system
Works with Service Provider to ensure appropriate ticket management including the proper documentation of root cause, prioritization of known error correction, and service level attainment
Collaborate with other areas of the Technology Solutions organization to plan integrated activities such as application upgrades, patch application and routine maintenance activities
Lead and participate in full lifecycle SAP BI implementation from requirements analysis, technical architecture design, application design and development till testing, and deployment
Leadership responsibilities, leading a team of local resources or coordinating off-shore deliveries, acting as the main interface towards the client
Conduct workshops to analyze the client's business processes to find improvements documenting business requirements
HPC:
Establish strategies for overall support of the system
Evaluate new hardware and software and understand potential benefits/impacts it can have in the environment
Perform hardware maintenance
Perform software installations and upgrades, inclusive of operating system
Monitor overall system performance and health
Provide support for the management of data in the environment
Work with users to resolve problems and ensure they are able to effectively utilize the system
Interact with both business customers and technical teams that are globally distributed and within varied time zones
Engaging with vendors for problem resolution of existing infrastructure and discussion of roadmaps and new technologies for evaluations
Foster a supportive work environment and maintains open, productive interactions among team and across organizations
Build and maintain cross-organizational contacts to facilitate execution of work
Desired Skills & Experience
The candidate must be a self-starter, capable of multitasking and efficiently manage their time in a multifaceted environment with demanding deadlines while requiring minimal levels of supervision.
Additionally, the candidate must possess excellent writing, speaking, analytical, project management, organizational, teamwork, and customer service skills that will assist them in identifying solutions to sophisticated security problems.
Ability to deliver high quality and reliable software by collaborating with team. Outstanding analytical skills, ability to apply expertise to drive sophisticated, technical and highly commercial solutions. Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing& demonstrations including issues, status reports and resolving impediments.
Native HANA, BW4HANA, SQL, BW-ABAP (Good to have).
