Principal Consultant – Power BI Admin

Responsibilities

Provide leadership with Power BI administration and the dashboard/reports development life cycle, including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support for the Resiliency Solutions portfolio.
Provide informal guidance and share knowledge with colleagues to enable them to contribute to the team's objectives.
Configure environment settings, including security, data policies, and connection references.
Control Power BI tenant features, activity logs, monitoring usage, assigning licenses, and audit logging.
Conduct capacity planning of shared infrastructure and work with infrastructure teams to execute upgrades, monitor server performance, and usage.
Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Power BI solutions.
Manage deployments and set guidelines for the team using Power BI.
Manage user access and permissions to Power Platform applications and resources.
Configure and enforce security policies to protect data and ensure compliance.
Maintain the Power Platform environment's governance policies, best practices, and security standards.
Monitor and manage Power Platform licenses to ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
Monitor and optimize Power BI performance.
Configure and manage gateways for on-premise data sources.
Understand usage patterns, identify areas for improvement, and track progress.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's/Graduation/Equivalent: BE/B- Tech, MCA, MBA
Excellent Communication skill and effectively interact with business user
Ability to interact with business as well as technical teams
Ability to learn and respond quickly to the fast-changing business environment
Ability to multitask and excellent interpersonal skills
Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach
