Principal Consultant -QA (Quality Assurance)

Responsibilities

§  Selecting or Identifying Areas/Test cases for Automation.

§  Designing & Implementing Test Automation Strategy.

§  Creating Automation Test Plan and getting approvals.

§  Choose selenium tools and Configuring Selenium Test Environment (Ex: Eclipse IDE, Java, Selenium WebDriver and TestNG, etc.).

§  Involvement in Selenium Environment Setup.

§  Automation Framework Design and Implementation.

§  Creating, Organizing, and managing Test Automation Resources.

§  Creating, Enhancing, debugging, and Running Test Cases.

§  Organizing, monitoring defect management process.

§  Handling changes and conducting Regression Testing.

§  Finding solutions for Object Identification issues and error handling issues.

§  Interacting with client-side people to solve issues and update status.

§  Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and developers to understand project requirements and determine the testing approach.

§  Build and lead a team of testers, assigning tasks, and providing guidance and mentorship.

§  Evaluate the feasibility of test automation and develop automated test scripts where applicable.

§  Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

§  Ensure clear and concise communication of test results to project stakeholders.

§  Report risks to project management and make recommendations for risk reduction.

§  Define and track key testing metrics to measure the effectiveness and progress of testing activities.

§  Prepare and present test status and defect reports to project stakeholders.

§  Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging testing technologies.

§  Implement process improvements and optimizations in the testing methodology.

Qualifications   
Minimum qualifications we seek in you!

§  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

§  Years of work experience in similar roles.

Preferred qualifications  

§  Excellent leadership and communication skills.

§  Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) may be preferred.

§  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

§  Co-coordinating Test team members and Development team to resolve the issues.
