Job Description
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Understand client needs and objectives; ensure they are met and exceeded.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding project statuses, issues, and resolutions.
Supervise and guide QA team members, including setting clear objectives and providing regular feedback.
Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to resolve QA issues promptly.
Analyze data to identify trends and insights that drive quality improvement initiatives.
Mentor and coach junior consultants and team members, providing technical guidance, sharing knowledge, and fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software testing and quality assurance, and apply relevant methodologies and tools to enhance testing processes and practices
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role, specifically focused on API testing.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, etc.
Solid understanding of API technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.) and web services.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests into CI workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Proven experience as a QA manager or relevant role.
Strong background in account management or client-facing roles.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
Strong organizational and leadership abilitiesCertifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB, Java certifications) are a plus.
The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicants experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
