Role Overview

We are seeking a senior Principal Architect with deep expertise in cloud-native product engineering and enterprise architecture, complemented by hands-on exposure to AI, GenAI, and agentic systems.

This role anchors strategic solutioning for complex digital and AI product programsshaping enterprise architectures, leading pre-sales engagements, and defining scalable, production-grade AI-enabled platforms. The ideal candidate is a seasoned full-stack architect first, with strong applied AI capabilities, comfortable operating across engineering, business, and sales leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Enterprise & Product Architecture Leadership

• Define architecture principles, reference models, and modernization roadmaps.
• Lead large-scale solution design across application, data, integration, security, and cloud.
• Govern architectural decisions, conduct assessments, and guide transformation programs.
• Drive modernization from monoliths to cloud-native, API-first, and event-driven systems.

2. Cloud-Native & Platform Engineering

• Architect scalable solutions across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
• Design microservices, APIs, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
• Define cloud landing zones, IAM, resilience, DR, observability, and FinOps guardrails.
• Ensure production readiness: performance, reliability, scalability, and compliance.

3. AI Product Engineering Enablement

• Embed GenAI and agentic capabilities into digital product architectures (copilots, decisioning, search, workflow automation).
• Guide productionization of AI systemscost optimization, latency management, governance, safety, and monitoring.
• Shape AI integration patterns where intelligence becomes part of core product logic.
• Define scalable AI platform architectures (LLM orchestration, vector search, model integration, controls).

4. Pre-Sales & Strategic Solutioning

• Lead architecture definition for RFPs, proposals, and strategic pursuits.
• Translate business problems into end-to-end solution blueprints and effort estimates.
• Present high-impact architecture narratives to CXO and senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to craft compelling, outcome-driven value propositions.

5. Accelerators & Thought Leadership

• Create reusable architectural patterns and accelerators across:
• Full-stack digital platforms
• Cloud-native engineering
• AI-native product architectures
• Contribute to internal standards and external thought leadership in AI product engineering.

Required Experience & Skills

• 15+ years in enterprise architecture and digital product engineering.
• Strong full-stack foundation (frontend, backend, APIs, distributed systems).
• Proven cloud-native architecture experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Expertise in microservices, event-driven systems, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability.
• Applied experience integrating GenAI / LLM-based systems into production applications.
• Strong pre-sales exposure: solutioning, estimations, proposals, executive presentations.
• Ability to connect technical architecture decisions to business impact.

Preferred

• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP Architect).
• TOGAF or enterprise architecture credentials.
• Exposure to data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, modern data stacks).
• Experience in large enterprise transformation programs.
