As a Principal Architect, you will act as a strategic technical leader who contributes to the vision, design, and implementation of the division's technology strategy. Supporting the CAP Chief Architect, this role aligns technical solutions with business objectives to develop a scalable and extensible platform architecture.

Join the CAP Architecture organization, supporting the alignment of CAP architecture, engineering, and platform standards and practices using your communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.

Role Responsibilities -

As a Principal Architect, your focus will be developing and implementing software solutions. Besides working closely with colleagues in Bangalore, we also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

We participate in the design, development, and documentation of enterprise architectural patterns, practices, and standards for the division, and we optimally connect with technical and non-technical division leaders to promote the adoption.

Act as a key leader for the CAP architecture and/or Cloud Platform Engineering guild.

Ensure technology solutions meet our operational, security, reliability, performance, and compliance standards.

Implement new business initiatives, products, programs, process that are aligned with the interpersonal strategy.

Stay up to date with the latest industry patterns, practices, and new technologies and recommend adoption strategies!

We expect you to have:

  • Proven/ Meaningful experience of 10+ years in Java/ Python/ .NET)
  • Operating Cloud Workloads (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
  • Ability to communicate complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Leadership: Guiding, influencing, and inspiring teams to follow architectural vision
  • Strategic Thinking: Looking beyond the immediate challenges to envision long-term solutions!

Education Qualification: Bachelors in Engineering or relevant qualification

Experience with crafting or supporting the following engineering practices: CI/CD pipelines, internal developer platforms or tooling, internal data platforms or tooling, internal AI platform or tooling.

It would be great if you

Experience with creating or supporting CI/CD pipelines. (e.g. GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins)

Experience with creating or supporting internal developer platforms and tooling.

Experience with creating or supporting internal data platforms and tooling.

Experience with creating or supporting internal AI platforms and tooling.
