Our client is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Principal or Assoc. Partner to join their Financial Services practice in India. This is a unique leadership opportunity to shape and grow a high-impact practice area at the forefront of industry transformation.

As Principal, you will lead strategic engagements with top-tier banking clients, drive business development, and act as a thought leader in shaping their presence in the Indian financial services market. Youll bring a deep understanding of the banking ecosystemretail, commercial, payments, risk, digital, or regulatoryand a strong network of industry relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and expand the Financial Services practice in India, with a primary focus on banking clients.
• Lead high-impact strategy consulting engagements, delivering actionable, data-driven insights and transformative solutions.
• Drive business development by identifying growth opportunities, leading proposal efforts, and strengthening client relationships.
• Bring domain expertise across retail and commercial banking, digital transformation, risk management, payments, and regulatory change.
• Provide thought leadership on emerging trends and innovations in banking and financial services.
• Mentor internal teams, contributing to capability-building and domain upskilling.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE 10+ years of experience in STRATEGY consulting, within banking, or financial services with a strong focus on strategy in the banking sector.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale consulting engagements and delivering results for banking clients.
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain C-level relationships and drive business development.
• MBA from a Tier-1 business school (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, etc.) is preferred.
