Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and dynamic Principal to lead a reputed boarding school in Uttarakhand.
The School offers both ICSE & CAIE curricula thus providing students with a well-rounded educational experience. The boarding facilities include well-furnished rooms with essential amenities thus ensuring a comfortable and secure living environment. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategic Vision
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the schools academic, co-curricular, and pastoral programs.
- Provide strong and collaborative leadership to faculty, staff, and students, fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity.
- Ensure alignment with the schools mission, values, and long-term goals.
Academic Excellence
- Oversee curriculum design, ensuring adherence to educational standards and the integration of innovative teaching methodologies.
- Monitor and enhance student performance through data-driven assessments and personalized learning initiatives.
- Promote professional development and mentorship programs for faculty members.
Holistic Development
- Foster an environment that emphasizes the all-round development of students, including academics, sports, arts, and leadership skills.
- Uphold the principles of discipline, moral integrity, and emotional well-being in a residential setup.
- Promote cultural, social, and global awareness through diverse programs and activities.
Operational Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring efficiency and adherence to policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the administrative and support staff to maintain high-quality facilities and services.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for students, parents, faculty, alumni, and the local community.
- Build strong relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and trust.
- Represent the school at educational forums, conferences, and other public events.
Compliance and Governance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and accreditation requirements.
- Maintain high standards of safety, security, and welfare for all students and staff.
- Report regularly to the governing body or board of trustees on the schools performance and strategic progress.
Qualifications and Experience
- Masters degree in Education, Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 15-20 years of experience in educational leadership, preferably in a residential/boarding school environment.
- Proven track record of academic and institutional achievements.
- Strong understanding of modern pedagogical practices, technology integration in education, and student-centric approaches.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
