Pricing Operations Analyst

Position Summary:

Senior Professional assisting in the Pricing supervision by managing operational activities helping pricing team members to work on day-to-day activities and meet KPIs

• Ensure pricing strategy and profit objectives are met
• Identify and lead implementation of pricing enhancements to drive efficiency and effectiveness of critical business support process

Key Responsibilities:

Pricing Tool Administration:

• Pricing Tools (Rebate Management, Contract Management, Product Management) Administrator providing support and advice when required
• Apply LEAN / Six-Sigma and CI principles in order to enhance existing Pricing Tools and to create new ones answering the needs of the organization
• Maintenance of the Customer Database tool providing a set of info on all existing customers

Operational Activities:

• Ensure product launches are successful and on time by getting all systems updated (cost, price floor, fee, list price)
• Review Pricing Guidelines on an annual basis with Sales & Marketing following strategic objectives defined by the company. Define and implement guidelines for new products
• Lead the annual contract review exercise by ensuring data integrity, preparing full regional business overviews, communicating price changes, implementing new contracts in the various systems and following up on customer acknowledgment and implementation
• Prepare on a monthly basis contract renewal files
• Do regular Product Master Data checks to ensure accuracy of specific fields (descriptions, translations, VAT rates, pricing reference material)
• Ensure price conditions in SAP reflect approved prices in Pricing tools PARAS, COMET & EQ
• Prepare on a monthly basis, rebates reports to review accrual levels and to identify rebates to be renewed or paid

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

• The individual will report to the Pricing & Tender Manager.
• The interactions cover a broad area of functions. The main interactions are within the Pricing & Tender team, the IT teams and staff functions (Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Credit Control, Finance).

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Educated to a Master or Professional Bachelor Degree level within the fields of Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
• Min. 5 years of experience in a Pricing or Finance environment is a must.
• Experience in the Healthcare sector is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Languages: Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook are required.
• Working experience with CRM (salesforce.com), SAP and Power BI is definitely a plus.
• Fast learner and a team player. Support and facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Extremely well-organized, a self-starter able to prioritize and manage multiple activities at any time.
• Ability to manage projects.
• High level of autonomy and accountability, you pay attention to details, and you meet the set deadlines and deliver correct and complete information.
