Hybrid Cloud & Public Cloud Pre-sales Lead
Location: Noida
Job description: This is a leadership role for growing hybrid cloud business by driving the technical and strategic pre-sales engagement for hybrid cloud solutions- spanning on-premises infrastructure, private cloud, and public cloud platforms. This role involves working closely with sales, Pre-sales team, delivery teams to understand customer needs, shape innovative solutions, and position the hybrid cloud offerings effectively in Europe region.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and proven experience leading presales teams in complex, enterprise-level engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- 17+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, or presales roles
- Lead Hybrid Cloud Pre-sales function
- Mentor and manage a team of presales consultants and solution architects.
- Oversee qualification, solutioning, and proposal development processes across multiple opportunities
- Drive consistency and quality in solution design, pricing, and customer presentations.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to build robust opportunity pipelines.
- Support responses to RFPs/RFIs with high-quality technical and commercial inputs.
- Design and present hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-prem, private, and public cloud resources
- Develop solution proposals, bills of materials (BOMs), architectures, and statements of work (SoWs).
- Lead technical discussions with customers.
- Collaborate with OEM and technology partners to enhance solution value and competitive positioning.
- Build presales team competencies through training, certification, and continuous knowledge sharing.
- Establish best practices, templates, and reusable assets for solution proposals and presentations.
- Engage with CxO level stakeholders at prospective clients in advisory capacity to deliver high impact solution-shaping workshops
- Strong client facing and communication skills and capable to independently think, conduct customer workshops articulate and comprehend customer pain points in technology and commercial areas for providing solutions.
Skill Sets
- Hands-on Public/Private cloud infrastructure design and deployment experience in enterprise organisations
- Experience of designing Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) Solutions (e.g., Azure Stack, vSAN/Nutanix ,vRA and VCF)
- Vendor Interactions (HP, Hitachi, MS, VMWare ,Dell EMC , NetApp ,and others).
- Good understanding of various IaaS platforms including Virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V, Openstack etc) as well as other public/private and hybrid cloud technology stacks (e.g. Hyper -converged systems, Azure Stack,).
- Good understanding of Software defined infrastructure for different OEMs , like DELL -EMC , VMWare, NetApp etc
- Good Multi OHypervisor knowledge: ESXi , Hype-V, Openshift, AHV services along with storage management, SAN, NAS, Back-up , Securityand Databases etc)
- Experience of designing public cloud solution (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience of creating operations solution which includes product driven delivery model, SRE
- Experience of designing automation, observability solutions
- Strong understanding across Cloud infrastructure components (server, storage, Back-Up , network, data, and applications) to deliver end to end Cloud Infrastructure architectures and designs.
- Strong understanding of designing private cloud (datacentre, compute, storage, backup, CyberVault) solution
